CINQUE TERRE TRAVEL PLAN
Don’t have time to read through blog posts, comments, reviews, or watch endless videos on YouTube and Instagram? Just want a ready-made travel plan for Cinque Terre — and better yet, one crafted by a local?
Well, you’re in the right place! And how much does it cost? Zero!
If you’d like to support us, you’re welcome to follow us on Instagram : lovviamemories. Back to the plan. If you’re a couple who likes to plan your own trips and you want to organize your Cinque Terre honeymoon yourselves, we’re here to help.
Maybe you’ve started searching online and realized just how much info is out there. What activities are worth booking? Which village should you stay in? How can you best organize transportation and activities? Where are the best spots to eat? And, of course, you want to make sure you get the best of the amazing scenery Cinque Terre offers. We get it — these are exactly the questions we ask ourselves!
Our goal is to optimize your experience, so we’ve put together a local-approved itinerary to make sure you get the most out of your trip. We want you to enjoy every second and come back with a magical adventure to share with family and friends.
Here’s a list of must-do stops along the way. We’ve kept it flexible — no exact train times, since they vary by season, and we want to leave room for adventure! We’ve balanced the itinerary to give you a full immersion in the Cinque Terre atmosphere.![]()

WHERE TO EAT AND STAY IN CINQUE TERRE
Many couples ask us, “How many days do you recommend in Cinque Terre?” Over the years, we’ve met so many travelers through our work as Cinque Terre photographers, and we hear this question all the time. Some only have time for a quick stop, others manage just a few hours (like those on cruise ships), some make it a one-day visit from Florence, and others stay a whole week. Everyone has different schedules and needs, of course! But if you’re asking us, we’d recommend at least a full three days.
Why three days? We know that traveling to Italy can be a big trip for some, and once you’re here, you want to see as much as possible. Stopping for too long in one place can feel counterproductive, with so many other cities and delicious things to try around Italy. We get it!
We’d say five days would be ideal, but three days is a nice compromise, and it works well for most of our clients. Of course, if you have five, even better!
When we travel somewhere new, we always wish we could find someone to help us pick the best experiences and save us from wasting time on endless searches. So, keeping this in mind, we’ve written this blog to give you a tried-and-tested package for the ultimate Cinque Terre experience.
Have you tried our itinerary? How was it? Any tips you’d like to share with future couples? Drop us an email — we’d love to hear your feedback and update our blog!
